Health and wellbeing centre

Woodridge State School focuses firmly on the whole person where staff cater for the physical, emotional, social and academic development of the individual.

The school’s Well-Being Centre is a place where students, staff and parents/care givers can chat to support staff to assist in positive behaviour development,  parenting and speech and language techniques and engaging in community activities in an enjoyable way.

Healthy life options are available for new parents and their newborns through visiting practitioners within our Well-Being, Community Centre’s Harmony Corner.

Supportive resources and personnel from the Centre are also used to enhance the offerings in the social and emotional/Kids Matter/health and physical education and School Wide Positive Behaviour Programs of the School.
