Woodridge State School is a richly diverse and dynamic community. With students from over 30 different nations (a significant portion refugees) sharing classrooms with Indigenous students and other Australian born students our school is an exciting place to be. Critical to the school's success is balancing the acute social and emotional needs of many highly vulnerable children, while delivering vital educative outcomes.

We have a proud history of supporting personalised learning and achievement of negotiated outcomes. Woodridge State School's 2009 Showcase State Award for Inclusive Education celebrated the exceptional foundation for personalised learning provided by the school's dedicated staff.

In 2016 the school received the Showcase State Award for Excellence in the Early and Primary Years. The school received this accolade for its initiative Global Citizenship Education…passport to social cohesion. The award celebrated the culmination of many years of commitment by the school community to develop all students as Australian and global citizens.
