At Woodridge State School we use the Switch4Schools program in our classroom and playground, practicing emotional regulation and growing our emotional intelligence.

What is the aim of Switch4Schools?
The aim of this program is to increase emotional intelligence in Students by improving mental health and wellbeing.
How can I help at home?
Switch4Schools provides a free Parent Portal through their website. You can use these resources to integrate emotional regulation lessons at home. Simply follow these steps:
- Visit the sign in page: click here for access.
- Select "Browse as Guest".
- Ask your child "What are you feeling?".
- Tap on the matching feeling wedge.
- Choose an activity and regulate your feeling.
- Reflect with your child: "Why did you feel this way?"; "What was happening in your body?"; "What happens now that we've regulated?"
Inform and Empower
At Woodridge State School we use Inform and Empower program in our classroom to learn cybersafety and practice our digital wellbeing.

What is Inform and Empower?
Inform and Empower have reimagined how children learn to navigate the digital world by providing incursions and lessons integrated into the school's curriculum. The aim of the program is to create safe, positive online experiences for every child.
How can I help at home?
Inform and Empower provide free Parent resources online. Here you can access videos, blogs and posters to assist with planning, implementing and encouraging digital wellbeing at home.
